Gandi Babji, one of the close aides of senior most leader from North Coastal Andhra Konatala Ramakrishna, is likely to join YSR Congress Party soon. He called a meeting with his supporters and followers on April 8to finalise his action plan.
Babji along with Konatala quit YSR Congress Party and joined the TDP. The talk in the TDP circles is that the TDP MLA from Pendurthy Assembly Constituency Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy was not allowing Babji to take part actively in local politics. Irked the TDP leader has been staying away from party programmes also.
Leaders said Babji wanted to revive his political fortunes ahead of next elections. Towards this, he is making fast moves. While Konatala was maintaining an individual leader without joining any political party since last elections.
