TTD on Friday released 50,879 online quota of Arjitha Seva tickets for the month of July 2018. Of this, 9,619 tickets will be allotted under electronic dip system. They include 9,619 tickets, of which 6,979 are Suprabhatam, Thomala and Archana each 110, 120 Astadalam and 2,300 Nija Pada Darshanam tickets.

Tirumala: TTD on Friday released 50,879 online quota of Arjitha Seva tickets for the month of July 2018. Of this, 9,619 tickets will be allotted under electronic dip system. They include 9,619 tickets, of which 6,979 are Suprabhatam, Thomala and Archana each 110, 120 Astadalam and 2,300 Nija Pada Darshanam tickets.

While the general category includes 48,800 tickets including Visesha Puja-1,000; Kalyanotsavam-12,350; Unjal Seva-3,900; Arjitha Brahmotsavam-7,150; Vasanthotsavam-8,800 and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva-15,600.

It may be noted here that, TTD introduced ‘electronic dip system’ for allotment of the predawn Arjitha (paid) seva tickets Suprabatham, Thomala, Archana and Nijapada Darshan ticket and also Ashtadala Padapadmaradha being performed on every Tuesday in Tirumala shrine keeping in view of the huge demand from the devotees.

Meanwhile, TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal asserted that the online system of allocation of Arjitha seva tickets through dip system is a transparent mechanism. Replying to queries from devotees Srinivas from Visakha Patnam, Sankar of Hyderbad and Jitendra from West Godavari , during ‘Dial Your EO programme’ held here on Friday, the TTD EO said the decision of online dip has been taken after considering the suggestions from majority of pilgrims and the system is very transparent and it requires no change.

In all, 23 calls from pilgrims from different parts of the country and one a call from Saudi Arabia received on various issues during the monthly ‘Dial Your TTD EO programme.’

The caller Gita from Saudi Arabia sought EO that she wanted to donate Rs.1 crore towards setting up a hospital for TTD. The EO said she will be informed about the technical issues and feasibility involved in the issue. TTD senior official including Joint Executive Officer KS Sreenivasa Raju, P Bhaskar and others were present.
