Addressingthe Passing Out parade of stipendiary constables of 2017-18 batch at lll APSP battalion grounds hereon Saturday, the Deputy Chief Minister said that maintaining of law and order plays an important role in overall development of the society.
In view of this, the state government has given top priority for this aspect. For effective maintenance of law and order, totally 5,867 constables and 662 sub-inspector posts were sanctioned to the state, he said.
Chinnarajappa pointed out that choosing of posts in police department by engineering graduates and post graduates indicates the respect and popularity of police department among public.
On this occasion, the Home Minister asked the new recruits to give top priority for protection of women, children, poor and down trodden. Commenting on the changing trends in crimes, he pointed out that desire to opt for luxury life also leading to raise in crimes in the society.
The Deputy CM advised the newly recruited constables to discharge their duties with honesty and integrity. The APSP commandant J Koteswara Rao administered departmental oath to 261 constables who have completed their
training.
The children of APSP School presented several cultural activities; the host of guests including the deoputy CM appreciated the skills of children in these activities. Those who attended the pregame are IG personal S, Sridhar Rao, East Godavari collector Kartikeya Mishra, SP Vishal Gunni, Kakinada Rural MLA, P, Anantalahshmi, Kakinada mayor S., Pavani deopty APSP commandant M. Nagendra Babu and others attended.
