DMHO calls for reducing maternal and infant mortality

Ongole: District medical and health officer (DMHO) Dr S Rajyalakshmi instructed officials to deliver effective health services to reduce maternal and infant mortalities at a review meeting with the health supervisors of Primal Health Centres and Community health officers of Ongole division on Tuesday.

The DMHO also instructed the officials to utilise the Chandranna Mobile health camps in providing medical services to the pregnant women.

She also ordered them to prepare micro plans to deal with seasonal diseases.
