Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that Telangana might become top state in the country first; but later, Andhra Pradesh would also reach the same position.

Addressing on the concluding day of three-day Mahanadu here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that the Telangana State have resources, opportunities and well-developed Hyderabad city. The Telugu Desam government created a vision for the development of Telangana State.

The present government in Telangana should utilise the favourable conditions to develop the State, he said. The Chief Minister also supported the resolution moved by Telangana Telugu Desam that the Telangana government failed to implement health and education properly to poorer sections.

On this occasion, Chandrababu Naidu also said that Hyderabad city was developed in his previous tenure as Chief Minister under the united Andhra Pradesh State. He recalled that he worked hard to meet and convince Bill Gates to start Microsoft in Hyderabad city.

Similar hard work was done for Shamshabad Airport and for international flights operation from Hyderabad, he reiterated. The Hyderabad city got recognition as international destination due to his relentless hard work and vision, he said. He termed that Hyderabad city is his brain child.

Now the Hyderabad city alone is generating Rs 70,000 crore income to Telangana State. But Andhra Pradesh does not have any city like that at present. The other neighbouring States have also similar capital cities, he said.

The two Telugu States would get massive development. The Amaravati capital city would get place as one of the top beautiful cities in the world and Andhra Pradesh would become top State in the country by 2029.
