Woman molests 14-year-old boy in Vijayawada

A woman from Vijayawada molested a 14-year-old boy. A case has been registered against the woman under The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) and the minor boy was rushed to a government hospital for medical examinations.

The 45-year-old woman who is a resident of Nunna assaulted the 14-year-old local boy sexually on Friday evening. The boy’s mother lodged a complaint with the police against the woman, who was attacked by the family members after coming to know of the incident.

POCSO Act was formulated in 2012 in order to effectively address sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children. However, filing a case against a woman in this regard is an unusual one.
