Adikavi Nannaya University inks MoU with IAS Study Circle Hyderabad

Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) entered into an MoU with Dr Lakshmaiah IAS Study Circle of Hyderabad here on Thursday. AKNU vice-chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu and the study circle chairman Dr PV Lakshmaiah signed the MoU in the presence of officials. The MoU was aimed to send the students to Civils.

Later, Mutyala Naidu said that the MoU would benefit a lot to the students of university affilated colleges shortly. As part of the MoU, the study circle imparts Civils training to the students.

It also offers BA and MA courses with Anthropology, Public Policy subjects. Many students are showing interest to go for Civils but they were not in a position to afford it due to financial constraints.

Because of this, AKNU penned an agreement with the study circle to combat the problem. He appealed to the students of the university to avail this opportunity and achieve their goal. The university was providing quality education to the students, he added.

SC/ST Commission chairman Karem Shivaji has appealed to the students to avail fee reimbursement and other facilities given by government and study well.

Commitment and dedication were important to elevate themselves to heights, he said.

Dr Lakshmaiah IAS Study Circle chairman Dr PV Lakshmaiah said the institute was started to get recognition to Telugu students at national-level. As many as 120 students selected for Civils through this study centre, he informed.

Experienced faculty imparts training to the students, he added.

University registrar Dr T Ashok and others were present.
