Minister inspects fair price shop

Vijayawada: Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao conducted surprise checks on a fair shop on MG Road with the officials of legal metrology department on Sunday as part of the state-wide inspections.

Speaking on the occasion, he said Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu had instructed him to get utmost satisfaction from those people who are availing the public distribution system.

He said the government would collect feedback from the people in this regard. The minister announced that he will tour Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts on July 2 and visit fair shops to study the services rendered by the shops.
