Visakhapatnam: As many as 2,12,042 candidates qualified in the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) June-2018 against a total number of 3,70,573 candidates. The online based examination was conducted at 113 centres in the State from June 10 to June 19.

HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao declared the TET results here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the qualified percentage of candidates is 57.27.

He said that incentive marks would be added for the physical education candidates after the confirmation of genuineness of their sports certificates.an average 25 per cent of candidates secured 90 and above marks in all sets of papers, confirming that there is broad equivalency in nature and quality of questions in each set, the Minister added.

Vemana Kusuma of Krishna district scored highest marks 146 against 150 in paper-I, Arla Vishnupriya of Ongole achieved 136 marks in Paper-II Social Studies, Imandi Vijaya Lakshmi of Vizianagaram scored 135 marks in Paper-II A Mathematics and Science, P Babyshalini of West Godavari achieved 135 marks in Paper-II A Mathematics and Science, Ch Lavanya of Nellore scored 134 in Paper II A Telugu, A Gousia of Kadapa secured 142 in paper-II A Hindi, M Prabhakara Babu of Guntur secured 138 marks in Paper-II A English, Shaik Shamshuddin of Krishna scored 135 marks in Paper-II B in Physical Education and P Venugopal of Chittoor achieved 135 marks in Paper II B Physical Education, the Minister said.
