Table tennis players from Vijayawada win medals
City table tennis players excelled in the State-level ranking TT tournament organised at the Chennupati Indoor stadium here from June 28 to 30. The TT players won gold and silver medals displaying outstanding performance.
Vijayawada: City table tennis players excelled in the State-level ranking TT tournament organised at the Chennupati Indoor stadium here from June 28 to 30. The TT players won gold and silver medals displaying outstanding performance.
In the women’s category and girls/youth category Sailu Noor Basha won the gold medals. N Dohadavati won the gold medal in Cadet Category. In the men’s category K Pavan won the silver medal and gold medal in the boys/youth category.
In the juniors category J Adarsh vardhan won silver medal. In the doubles category, Nazeer and Noor Basha won the silver medal. Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association secretary Sultan and vice-president Viswanath, association members coaches and others congratulated the winners. All these players take coaching at the Chennupati Indoor Stadium in Patamata here.
