The tragedy is the victim took a selfie in which he had alleged his wife and in-laws were responsible for his death. According to railway police, the deceased was identified as Movva Guruva Reddy (27). He had married Gayatri, 25, of same area four years ago. They were school mates.

However, he discontinued his education after Class X and working in a company while she pursued education and completed engineering. She went to Hyderabad and was working as a software professional there. Of late, she developed friendship with another man and reportedly has been talking to him regularly over phone.

Guruva Reddy noticed it and questioned. But she did not care and not changed her attitude, said the GRP police. Meanwhile, Gayatri lodged a complaint with Krishna Lanka police alleging that her husband was harassing her. In turn, police took him into custody and questioned him two days ago.

Hurt with the incident, he decided to end his life and committed suicide on Monday night. In the selfie, he apologised his parents for committing suicide and alleged his wife Gayatri and in-laws were responsible for his death. Police noticed a cell phone in his pocket and seen the video. The GRP police are investigating the case.
