Arrangements for army recruitment rally in Kakinada reviewed
A review meeting on arrangements for the six districts Army Recruitment Rally to be conducted from July 6 to 15 in Kakinada was held here on Wednesday.
Kakinada: A review meeting on arrangements for the six districts Army Recruitment Rally to be conducted from July 6 to 15 in Kakinada was held here on Wednesday.
District Rural Development Agency project director S Malli Babu reviewed the arrangements at his office with officials of police, revenue, municipal administration and AP Transco, Army, medical and health, transport and JNTU-K and allied departments.
Malli Babu said that a total 56,000 persons enrolled from the six districts (from Srikakulam to Krishna) for the 10-day event to be conducted from 3 am to 7 am on all days.
He directed the medical and health department to make available medical services round-the-clock. The CEO also asked the Transco authorities to arrange for proper lighting facilities on all the 10 days.
The official also said that identity cards would be issued to all participating candidates. He also alerted the candidates and their parents not to believe in rumors and about the middlemen in the selections.
