MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary inaugurates 1,669 houses

Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary has said that the state government is trying to sanction house to everyone in the state under rural and urban housing schemes.

Inaugurating 1,669 newly-constructed houses under NTR Gruha Nirmana Padhakam in Rayudupakalu village, he said Gruhapravesams were performed to three lakh houses across the state on Thursday.

All the houses were allotted to poor people after verifying their credentials and not giving scope for any criticism. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was very much particular to provide house to everyone.

Basic amenities such as roads, drains, lighting, drinking water etc were provided in the newly constructed houses and asked the beneficiaries not to sell them to others.

All the houses were constructed with quality and advised them to stay in the houses. As many as 80 acres of land was acquired for constructing 10,000 houses also in rural constituency, he added.

TDP leaders P Iswarudu and housing department officials were present.
