Voice messages to sheep rearing community

Vijayawada: The State Animal Husbandry Department and Reliance Foundation jointly prepared a programme to extend suggestions to the goats and sheep rearing communities through voice messages, said Minister for Dairy, Fisheries and Livestock Ch Adinarayana Reddy.
He said in a statement here on Friday that it may be recalled that six lakh dairy farmers are being given voice messages regarding the government schemes, suggestions and advices for the development dairy for the past three years.
Consequently, now one lakh people among the sheep and goat rearing communities would also receive voice messages from Friday, the minister said and added that they could effectively use these services to rear sheep and goat on a scientific basis and avail the services of the state government. The farmers may secure more information by contacting the officials on toll free number 1800 419 8800, the minister said.
