Recognising the valuable services of home guards, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has hiked the salary of home guards from Rs 12,000 to Rs 18,000, said District Collector P S Pradyumna
Chittoor: Recognising the valuable services of home guards, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has hiked the salary of home guards from Rs 12,000 to Rs 18,000, said District Collector P S Pradyumna.
The Collector participated in a programme organised at District Police Office here on Saturday, on the occasion of home guards completing their training.
Addressing the home guards, Pradyumna gave a call to them to discharge their duties with commitment and to maintain close relations with the people.
District SP SV Rajasekhar Babu has thanked the Chief Minister for giving nod to create 160 home guard posts including 25 for women.
The SP stated the home guards would be deputed on various assignments. He felicitated 5 home guards, who excelled during the training.
