Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the MPs of Telugu Desam to continue their fight against the Centre and carry forward the spirit to public

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the MPs of Telugu Desam to continue their fight against the Centre and carry forward the spirit to public. Addressing the MPs through teleconference on Friday, he asked the MPs to attend Dharmaporata Sabha which would be held in Ongole and observe the mood of the public.

Praising the efforts of the MPs of Telugu Desam in no confidence motion against the Centre, he said that the people are also satisfied about their fight in Parliament. The MPs of TDP utilised every opportunity, he said and added that the same fight should be continued until we get justice. The next two days are holidays and the MPs should spend time with the people by discussing injustice done to the State.

He said that the TDP would not leave the BJP for its injustice done to the State. He criticised the BJP for not fulfilling the promises and assurances of AP Reorganisation Act. He asked the MPs to get ready for future agitation against the Centre. He said that the BJP changed its stand but the Telugu Desam never left from its demand.

The Centre reversed Rs 3,500 crore after releasing the same to the State, he said and added that the BJP did not implement even single promise. The Centre was showing between partiality on Chennai-Metro Corridor and Mumbai-Delhi corridor and Rajasthan Petro Complex-Kakinada Petro complex. He said that the Centre released funds for Dolera city while Amaravati city was neglected. The BJP tried to defame the Telugu Desam colluding with the YSR Congress and Jana Sena. He wondered as to how the YSR Congress gave an agitation call when the TDP proposed to conduct Dharmaporta Sabha in Ongole. He said the people were watching the developments and give their judgment in favor of justice.
