Visakhapatnam: The new city police commissioner Mahesh Chandra Laddah assumed charge from T Yoganand here on Monday at Police Commissionarate here on Monday. After completing IPS training, Laddah has been posted as ASP at Visakhapatnam Agency. Now he was appointed as City Commissioner of Police.
Addressing media Mahesh Laddah said more attention would paid on traffic issues and cybercrimes in the city. As the city expanding fast commercially and financially, there was an urgent need to put more focus on controlling cybercrimes, he pointed out. He said latest technology will be used to maintain law and order and traffic issues.
Ladda said more signal points will be installed at important places to streamline traffic. Regarding land grabbing cases in the city, he said strict action will be taken on land grabbers in the city.
