Prakasam police receive 2 speed guns by DTC KV Subbarao in Ongole
The Prakasam district police received two speed guns from the district transport department as per the directions of the government
Ongole: The Prakasam district police received two speed guns from the district transport department as per the directions of the government.
The deputy transport commissioner, KV Subbarao handed over the speed guns to the SP, Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu in the district police office on Wednesday.
The SP inspected the speed guns and distributed the same to the Markapur and Darsi sub divisional officers for utilization on the highways.
He said that these speed guns will generate eChallans for the over speeding vehicles with the details of the vehicles, speed, date and time.
He said the speed gun also be used for the generation of challans for other violations like helmet less driving etc and the officer can issue it the driver immediately or send it through the post.
He said that these speed guns would be utilized on the highways and will be used to reduce the number of accidents in the district.
