Visakhapatnam: The city police took the murder case as a challenge as the murder took place on the third day of the new Commissioner of Police Mahesh Chandra Laddah took charge.
Police already took seven members into their custody and special teams were sent to adjacent districts as the signals of their phone were traced in those districts.
The city police formed three special teams under the supervision of DCP K Fakeerappa to nab the culprits who were involved in the murder of Md Kasim.
Already, MR Peta and Two Town police took 20 rowdy sheeters, who were suspected to be involved in Kasim’s murder.
