Eluru: MLA Badeti Bujji has informed the Muslim gathering that welfare schemes coined for the community by state government are implemented successfully.
He participated in namaz offered to mark Bakrid at Karbala grounds here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that India was secular nation and there was no room for discrimination on caste and religion.
The government was focusing on welfare scheme intended for all without favour to any caste or religion. Everyone should attain success by emulating leaders like great scientist Abdul Kalam who born in poor family.
He requested Muslims to participate in Chalo Guntur programme with slogan ‘Nara Hamara- TDP Hamara’ scheduled for August 28.
Anjuman president SM Akbar, vice-president Md Showkat, secretary Md Sadiq and others were present.
