Though Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has been repeatedly saying that it would be a triangular contest in Andhra Pradesh in 2019, the party workers appear fatigued, disinterested and demoralized. When Pawan entered the fray, everyone throught that there would be a triangural contest in the state between the TDP, YSRCP and the Jana Sena. Pawan had also said that the Jana Sena would grow into a third alternative in the state and that it would contest all the seats in Andhra Pradesh. He had even said that the Jana Sena would contest both the Telugu states.

But, with Pawan looking fatigued, the Jana Sena cadre appear demoralized. The party cadre is becoming active only when Pawan Kalyan organizes meetings. Otherwise, their activism is limited to social media only.

In an interesting comment, one of Jana Sena’s official spokesperson said that elections are just a few months away and I must admit our party is not battele ready. It appears the main fight would be between the TDP and the YSRCP, he added.

This shows that the cadre appears unenthusiastic. Usually, the spokespersons of even the smallest party excude confidence and never try to show themselves as weak. Even during adversities, they try to defend themselves. But, Jana Sena spokesperson appears so demoralized and thoroughly dejected. It is about time that Pawan Kalyan again give a pep talk to his workers and push them into the battle field.
