Founder President of GITAM University and MLC MVVS Murthi mortal remains reached to Visakhapatnam this morning. Telugu Desam Party leaders, relatives and a big number of followers received the body at the airport and paid floral tributes to Murthi. The body is being shifted by road to his residence ‘Kanchana’ located at Waltair Uplands in the city. HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, several MLAs and party leaders were present.
Vice President of India M.Venkaiahnaidu, Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu and ministers, MPs, and MLAs are coming to the city to pay tributes to Murthi.
MVVS Murthi died in a car accident in the US. When Murthi and his friends were on their way to Wildlife Park near Alaska, a speedy truck the car and Murthi died on the spot. Three more his friends also died in the accident.
