Ongole: A huge gathering enjoyed the morning with the special programmes, Happy Sunday and Anandalahari arranged at Venkateswara Colony of 50th division by the Ongole Municipal Corporation.
The youth, children, and adults irrespective of men and women actively participated in the musical chairs, tug of war, caroms, ring, chess, puli-meka, lemon in spoon, snakes and ladder, shuttle badminton as part of the Happy Sunday activities.
The artistes of Bharatanatyam, folk, western dance, cultural, folk and cine songs mesmerised the public with their performance.
The officials and local leaders distributed the certificates and prizes to the children and youth for their active participation.
The Ongole Municipal Corporation commissioner, Sankranthi Venkata Krishna, DE Anil Kumar, town planning officers Z Sudhakar, Rammohan and other municipal staff along with the residents and students in the area also participated in the programmes.
