About 400 students of SRKR Engineering College were selected in campus recruitment drive organised by various companies in September
Bhimavaram: About 400 students of SRKR Engineering College were selected in campus recruitment drive organised by various companies in September.
TCS and Infosys had sent the list of selected students to the college, informed the principal Dr G Pardhasaradhi Varma here on Wednesday.
The principal said TCS had selected about 217 students and Infosys Technologies had selected 144 students in the recruitment drive.
A few students were selected for 4IQ company with a package of Rs 8 lakh per year, said the college placements dean Dr GVR Murthy.
In September, as many as 18 companies visited the college. The placement officer, Venkatesh said that 143 CSE branch students, 117 ECE Branch students, 64 Information Technology(IT) students, 37 EEE branch students, 20 Mechanical Branch students, 16 Civil Engineering students and three M Tech students were selected.
The college Secretary and Correspondent, Sagi Vithal Ranga Raju said last year 750 students of the college got placement and this year, in one month, a good number of students were selected by six companies and opined that about 800 to 900 students would be selected this year in the campus recruitment drive.
The college president, Sagi Prasada Raju, vice-president Gokaraju Ramaraju, faculty adviser Dr K Suresh Babu, vice-principal Dr KVSN Raju and department heads congratulated the selected students on the occasion.
