Rajamahendravaram: Dommeti Kidney Care and Dialysis Centre will open its doors in the city to extend dialysis facility to the needy with corporate quality medical aid at affordable prices.
A retired scientist, Dr DV Venkat Rao of Baba Atomic Research Centre (Mumbai) in association with Navnath Health Centre (NHC) of Mumbai will be establishing the centre.
Disclosing the details at a press conference here on Friday, NHC managing director and nephrologist Mukesh Shete said that the centre would be the first of its kind in two Telugu states with latest German medical equipment.
As many as 10 dialysis machines were installed in the centre. The NHC would charge only Rs 1,600 for one sitting, which was very less when compared with other hospitals, he added.
The centre director Dr DV Venkat Rao said consultation rooms, medical lab, nephrologist, dietician along with nutritional rehabilitation available at the centre.
