Vijayawada: Youth Advancement Tourism and Culture YAAT&C (Sports & YS) Department has issued orders through GO RT No 414 to sanction an amount of Rs 3 lakh to the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada towards payment of financial assistance to Shaik Husna Sameera, National Player for having created a New World Record by playing Non-stop Carom (34 hours 45 minutes 56 seconds) to have Gunnies Book of World Record on December 25th and 26th, 2016 at Dandamudi Rajagopal Rao, Indoor Stadium, Vijayawada by breaking existing USA record (32 hours, 45minutes, 20 seconds), according to orders issued by LV Subrahmanyam, Special Chief Secretary to Government.
The Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada requested for sanction of Rs 3 lakh to Shaik Husna Sameera, player, as she was the first girl from AP to achieve Gunnies Record and many records.
