NSS students create awareness on right to vote

Kakinada: The Adi Kavi Nannaya University [AKNU] post graduate centre NSS students organised awarenss programme on right to vote on Friday.

The students in groups went round Penumarti village in Kakinada rural and spoke to the local population on right to vote in the selection and election of people’s representatives.

The 20 student volunteers led by NSS officer of the PG centre Madhu Kumar helped in enrolling 100 people from local population by filling form C.

The NSS officer said that the filled in forms will be submitted for enrollment as voters.

Kakinada rural MRO, K Subrahmanyam and others participated.
