Mega Marathon to create awareness on stroke held in guntur

Guntur: Doctors under the banner of Indian Medical Association, Guntur city conducted Mega Marathon on Sunday, on the occasion of World Stroke Day on October 29.
The marathon will help in creating awareness among the people on brain stroke.
Speaking on this occasion, IMA Guntur city president Dr P Vijaya said that as soon as patient gets stroke, he has to alert and “We have to start treatment in the Golden Hour.”
She explained how to save brain from the stroke. She said that they would conduct a free medical camp and stroke screening tests at NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium in Guntur city.
IMA members and doctors were present. Mega Marathon started from NTR Municipal Stadium and passed through the main roads in Guntur city.
