Visakhapatnam: The ‘Naipunya Ratham,’ a fully loaded digitised skill development vehicle, ‘World on Wheels,’ arrived to the Chippada village as a model village under Smart Village and smart ward project.

The Divi’s Laboratories Limited is the partner for Chippada on smart village concept which is one among selected 28 model panchayats across the state identified by the Smart Andhra Pradesh Foundation.

The AP Government identified 20 non-negotiable indicates to announce a village as a smart village.

During the visit to the village for about 10-days, the ‘Naipunya Ratham’ will create opportunities for underserved communities and empower people to build a better and more prosperous life.

The Naipunya Ratham will facilitate and improve digital literacy, digital skills and create awareness on various government schemes.

World on Wheels Lab is a 20-seater bus with digital facilities and learning lab equipped with smart technology gadgets as well as with e-learning tools like HP Classroom Manager, HP Video Book and HP Life.

On the occasion, Chairman and Managing Director of Divi’s Laboratories Limited, Murali Krishna Divi opined that adopting a village and focusing on holistic development is a dream project.

Divi’s Laboratories Limited, Visakhapatnam, Director, Madhusudan Rao said that the laboratory is directly monitoring the Chippada smart village programme.
