Sri Venkateswara University wins South Zone Inter Varsity Kho Kho tourney
Sri Venkateswara University emerged winners in the South Zone Inter University Kho Kho tournament for men held in the University campus from October 2528
Tirupati: Sri Venkateswara University emerged winners in the South Zone Inter University Kho Kho tournament for men held in the University campus from October 25-28.
Acharya Nagarjuna University stood as runners while Calicut University secured third spot and Rani Channamma University, Belgavi managed fourth position.
Total 57 universities from south Indian states took part in the tournament. The awards were presented to the winners at the closing ceremony held on Sunday evening for which the Principal of SVU College of Engineering Prof GN Pradeep Kumar was the chief guest.
The Principal of SVU College of Arts Prof G Savaraiah presided over the function in which In charge Director of Physical Education Dr D Krishna Murthy, Physical Education Department faculty M Sivasankar Reddy and Dr A Giridhar Raju also took part.
