Bhimavaram: Two kids from the town brought laurels by securing five gold medals in various categories at the national-level archery championship held in Vijayawada recently.
Bhupati Raju Tanishka, a Class II student of Westberry School here scored four gold medals in various categories. She scored 713 out of 720 points in the competition, according to her coach Gopal Gandhi Krishna.
Meanwhile, M Suhas, a Class III student of Vishnu School here won gold medal in the national-level archery competition. He was adjudged as overall champion, according to the school principal.
