Vijayawada: The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) is planning to construct a 60-berth marina on the banks of Krishna River in Amaravati capital.

There would be ancillary facilities and a training center for water sports at one place along with marina.

The project will be completed by September 2019. According to the plans, it will be the India’s largest marina and the State government wants to construct it under public private partnership (PPP) mode.

The facilities like boat launch, repairs, dry stack storage are being planned to provide in the marina.
