Anantapur: Hindi Seva Sadan founder S Gaibu Vali and Onteru Srinivas Reddy on Wednesday represented to Special Chief Secretary (Higher Education) Aditya Nath Das and Commissioner of School Education K Sandhya Rani in Amaravati on Wednesday, seeking re-notification of DSC 2018 sanctioning 3,500 posts of Hindi pandits in accordance with GO 29.
Reddy is honorary president of the Teachers’ Coordination Committee. The two leaders pointed out that in the recent notification only nine posts district-wise were shown as vacant. In some districts, only two or three vacancies were shown.
They opposed it stating that as per the GO and Three Language Formula, 3,500 vacant posts across the State should be notified through DSC 2018 and filled. Vali stated that 40,000 unemployed teacher candidates were eagerly waiting for the notification after becoming successful in Hindi Pandit Training and TET. He recalled that they had made many efforts to secure posts during the last four years.
