Kakinada: The BJP leaders recalled sacrifices of Potti Sriramilu, including his 56-day indefinite fast for the sake of Telugu people to get separate state for Telugu-speaking people.
Paying tributes to Potti Sriramulu at PR College here on Thursday, the BJP district unit president Y Malakondayya said that the AP government had completely ignored sacrifices of the great leader and organising Nava Nirmana Deeksha for political gains.
The party senior leaders Pydah Bhavana Prasad, Ch Srinivas, NV Saibaba, Lakshmi Tulasi and others participated.
