LWA members excel in Amaravati Marathon

Vijayawada: The members of Loyola Walkers Association (LWA) won prizes at the Amaravati Marathon Run held on Sunday.

LWA president Tatineni Venkateswara Rao said that the members of the association participated in all the three categories of the event.
Mallikarjuna Rao (73) participated in 21 K event and finished the run in two hours time.

Isac and Venkata Krishna Rao also finished the run in the same category and were role models for the young runners. In women category, T Sirisha, G Lalitha and M Padma participated in 10K run and won prizes, said the president.

TDP MP K Ravindra Kumar and MLA T Sravan Kumar presented mementos to the winners at Loyola college premises here on Tuesday.
