Rajamahendraavaram: Urban MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana has assured to sort out the problems in 45th division and asked the municipal corporation officials to address the problems immediately.
He inspected VAMBAY Colony in 45th division here on Monday, where the residents poured their problems before the MLA.
They complained that they were not able to reside there because of foul smell coming out from the lavatories as the septic system was damaged and drain water was overflowing on to the roads posing health problems.
The women also said they were not getting drinking water properly and their houses need repairs.
Later, the MLA said all the problems brought to his notice would be addressed shortly and asked the residents of VAMBAY Colony to maintain restraint. Former corporator Ramana, BJP leaders N Padmasri, KB Singh, A Gopi and others were present.
