Guntur: TDP activists protested at Endowments office in Guntur city on Wednesday to protest against expulsion of a priest from Sivalayam in Attalur village in Guntur district by the YSCRP leaders.
Andhra Pradesh Archaka Samakhya and Brahmana Samakhya jointly conducted the protest.
Speaking on this occasion, State Brahmana Sangam secretary Siripurapu Sridhar condemned the YSRCP activists’ attacks on the priest and obstructing him from attending the duties which was against the Supreme Court directives.
He demanded that the government take steps to arrest YSRCP leader Nutulapati Surendra and take stern action against him. Priest Devarakonda Koteswara Rao and others submitted a memorandum to the Endowments Department officials.
