Krishna varsity team selected for weight lifting
Krishna University has selected three member team to participate in the interuniversity weight lifting and best physique competitions to be held in Calicut from November 17 to 20
Vijayawada: Krishna University has selected three member team to participate in the inter-university weight lifting and best physique competitions to be held in Calicut from November 17 to 20.
K Swamy and P Nagaraju of Zakir Hussain college, Ibrahimpatnam and K Kiran of KVR College of Nandigama will represent the University.
Krishna University sports board Secretary Dr N Srinivasa Rao in a press release on Wednesday said Swamy and Nagaraju were selected for weight lifting and Kiran for Best physique competitions.
He said coaching camp was conducted to the players in Vijayawada from November 8 to 14 and the players will soon for Calicut.
He said V Nageswara Rao has been appointed as manager. Dr N Srinivasa Rao and KVR College principal Venkateswara Rao extended wishes to the team.
