Rajamahendravaram: The students of Dafne Asiatic School celebrated Yellow Day to help little ones become well-versed with the colour of Sun God, yellow, according to chairman of the group of educational institutions Tammabattula Sridhar.

He said in a statement here on Friday that the day was planned to clear the concept of the recognition, significance and understanding of yellow colour. The students brought yellow flowers- marigold, rose and delicious yellow rice with a yellow fruit for their lunch.

The school wore a festive look with the decoration of the campus with yellow flowers and yellow balloons. To mark the importance of the day, the students and the teachers were adorned in various shades of the lovely yellow attires.

The cherubic fairies of Montessori section looked simply fascinating. The kids enjoyed this unique celebration of its kind in the school.

Colouring, show and tell, tear and paste and other fun-filled activities attracted the students while they had fun and frolic with their teachers.

In the end, the teachers along with the very enthusiastic kids relished the lemonade.

The principal and a host of teachers were present during the celebrations.
