Anantapur: Minister for Woman and Child Welfare Paritala Sunitha on Saturday has inspected the Christmas and Sankranti festival kits which contained oil, ghee, dal and spices.
Speaking on the occasion, Paritala Sunitha said that the concept of giving festival gifts to the poor was introduced only by the TDP government.
She asked the Civil Supplies Department to supply quality commodities to the poor people.
The Minister said that the TD government had been giving gifts to the poor for all festivals.
She asked the people to complain to her if any of them were denied the special kits for their festivals.
