Guntur: AgriGold Customers and Agents Welfare Association leaders staged a dharna at Narasaraopet MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao’s residence at Lakshmipuram here on Monday, to mount pressure on the government to take steps to do justice to the depositors.
They said that the AgriGold company announced that the Haailand was not its property and informed the same to the court. The depositors demanded that the government constitute a fund with Rs 1,000 crore.
They submitted a memorandum to Rayapati requesting him to take steps to do justice to the AgriGold victims. Responding to this memorandum, the MP assured that the government would take steps to help the victims.
