Kurupam (Vizianagaram): YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy alleged that people belonging to Agency villages are not being provided proper health services. “They need to travel in hilly areas by walk to reach the health centres. It's total failure of the State government,” he said.

On Tuesday, Jagan addressed a public meeting at Kurupam in Vizianagaram district and alleged that the bigwigs of TDP are planning to grab the assets of AgriGold in an illegal manner.

“They want to loot the properties but they do not bother about the welfare of the depositors of the company. The Chief Minister is not interested in going to the Supreme Court on State issues but he wants to approach the apex court on IT raids.”

Jagan demanded that the Chief Minister should conduct an in-depth inquiry into Operation Garuda to bring facts to light. If Naidu believes that there was a plot to destablise his government under Operation Garuda, he should lodge a complaint with President Ram Nath Kovind against the Prime Minister, Jagan suggested. The Opposition leader also wondered why Naidu even failed to approach court on the issue.

Jagan flayed the Chief Minister for his failure to take measures for the welfare of people in drought-hit areas in the State and instead spending his time in touring different States and meeting leaders of other parties. Though Naidu had an alliance with the BJP for four years, he could not complete a single project, the YSRCP chief said. Now Naidu joined hands with the Congress and began blaming the BJP.

He also criticised the Chief Minister for not providing proper relief to victims of Cyclone Titli and spending a huge sum for publicity. Jagan pointed out that farmers in Vizianagaram district are being deprived of irrigation water as the government failed to complete either Janjavathi or Thotapalli projects.

Jagan covered Jogirajupeta, Bhatlabhadra, Putika Valasa as part of his Padayatra on Tuesday and interacted with people. Locals of Kitchada village complained that their village has no road facility so far and the children are stopping their education at primary level due to lack of proper road and transport facility.

The private medical practitioners appealed to him to recognise their services and issue identity cards. Farmers of Komarada mandal explained how they were struggling for irrigation water as the works of Gummidigedda reservoir are yet to be completed. Kondaveeti Jyothirmayi, devotional singer met Jagan and asked him to see that there is no political involvement in the affairs to Tirumala temple.
