Cheques worth 12.13 lakh under CMRF distributed

Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary distributed Rs 12.13 lakh worth of cheques to 13 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund in the party office here on Tuesday.
Later, he said the financial assistance was given for their medical aid. So far, an amount of Rs 10 crore was sanctioned to the city and Rs 1,000 crore across the
state under Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The government was providing free treatment for 44 diseases and strengthening government hospitals across the state.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was sanctioning funds under Chief Minister's Relief Fund without any delay and thousands of people were getting benefited by the financial assistance.
He advised the beneficiaries to avail this opportunity judiciously and spend the amount for their treatment only and there was no dearth of funds in this regard, he added. TDP leaders VR Babu, VS Rao and others were present.
