Congress leaders clash in a verbal argument in Tirupati

Tirupati : The Congress party meeting which began here Wednesday witnessed heated arguments between leaders on various issues including alliance with other parties and the subsequent seat sharing.

Party incharge of Constituencies and prominent leaders from the three districts of Chittoor, Kadapa and Kurnool districts taking part in the meeting which assumes significance as it is the first meeting being held after the ruling TDP which is the arch rival of Congress jointly fighting in Telangana and came closer at national level.

Sources said that there was verbal clash after some leaders spoke highly critical of TDP with which the Congress is moving close in the national political arena.

Senior Congress leaders including former union minister Cinta Mohan are among those attended the meet presided by PCC president P Raghuveera Reddy.
