Mega MSME Conclave in Tirupati on Dec 13

Tirupati: The first mega MSME Conclave in the country will be held in Tirupati on December 13 facilitating budding entrepreneurs to participate and sign MoUs with the government, said the Minister for Industries N Amarnath Reddy. 

Speaking to the media in Tirupati after participating in the consultative meeting on MSME Conclave in Tirupati on Monday, the minister said that the mega convention will be held at SV University’s Tarakarama Stadium in which Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will participate.

AP MSME Park policy 2018-23 guidelines will be released on this occasion. The government has been committed to establish MSME parks in all the 175 constituencies in the State which has conducive industrial atmosphere. The state is having able leadership with Naidu as CM and has been providing 24 hours power supply to industries. The State has two industrial parks out of the total five in the country.

The Minister said that in Tirupati conclave 10000 MSMEs from across the State will take part. It will have two or three technical sessions and panel discussions on subjects like increasing market potential through e-commerce, MSMEs in post GST era, export promotion for MSMEs in which experts from various fields will participate and give lectures.

APIIC, APSSDC, AP Tourism, Yuvanestham, NSIC, SIDBI, CIPET, MSME-DI and other centre and state government agencies will open exhibition stalls at the venue. All the 13 districts also will open stalls where they will display the opportunities for establishing MSMEs in each district and the best products available there. 

He added that the government has invited e-commerce companies to open their stalls with a view to interlink MSMEs with digital markets. Also, MSME awards, allotment letters for industry units and credit sanction letter to MSMEs by commercial banks will be distributed by the Chief Minister.

On this occasion, the Minister launched APIIC MSME portal through which those who are interested in establishing industries can register. APIIC Chairman P Krishnaiah, Secretary of Industries department Solomon Arokia Raj, Commissioner for Industries Siddarth Jain, District Collector PS Pradyumna and others took part.
