Rajamahendravaram: BJP MLC Somu Virraju has said that the party is opposing the land acquisition by Chief Minister Nara Chandrbabu Naidu. He is luring the people in various ways to get the things done.
Participating in Bhu Rakshana Deeksha at Kotipalli bus station here on Friday, he said Naidu was acquiring the lands of hapless farmers at less prices and giving the compensation as per 2013 Land Acquisition Act.
Many farmers lost their fertile lands for Amaravathi and Polavaram Project and till now the state government not paid compensation properly, he alleged.
Satya Gopinadh Das said the party would fight for the farmers until they get justice from the government. The people were watching the state government's unnecessary land acquisition and teach a lesson to the ruling party.
BJP leaders AR Krishna, B Dutt, GC Babu, DR Krishna and others were present.
