Kakinada: The BJP organised Deeksha against ‘graft and irregularities’ under TDP rule here on Friday.
Participating as chief guest, MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju alleged that the corruption in TDP rule had gone to such an extent that apart from graft in all fields, the ruling party leaders were not sparing even sites allocated for latrines under total sanitation programme.
Vishnu Kumar Raju said that the land grabbed in Visakhapatnam district by TDP leaders had exceeded 2,000 acres.
Addressing the meet, East Godavari party unit president Y Malakondayya said that in East Godavari apart from sand mafia, the mining mafia also earned crores of rupees with active involvement of TDP leaders.
The party leaders P Ravi Karan, TV Sarvarayudu and others attended.
