Vijayawada: The Hans India Editor Ramu Sarma suggested journalists to inculcate a habit of questioning the leaders on every issue to bring truth.

After inaugurating the book namely "My Journey", authored by IYR Krishna Rao, former AP Chief Secretary at a private hotel in Vijayawada on Sunday, Ramu Sarma said that the media also equally responsible for collapse of systems, if the journalists remain silent.

On this occasion, he also suggested retired IAS officials to write awareness creating articles on news papers. Ramu Sarma assured that he will publish their stories on The Hans India.

He observed that at present, there is trust deficit between politicians in the power and bureaucrats, who are responsible for good governance.

He observed that, this trust deficit must be overcome by themselves. He hoped that if they start it now, it may take at least ten years to build confidence on each other.

Commenting on the book, Ramu Sarma said that, the contents in it will become controversial between ruling and opposition parties. But at the same time, he suggested to see this book from positive perspective but not from negative side.

He said that IYR Krishna Rao wrote the book impartially and added saying that the bureaucrat called spade a spade.

In this book release, Supreme Court former Justice Jasti Chalameswar, Undavally Arun Kumar and other retired IAS officials participated.
