Vijayawada: APCRDA Social Development Department is making an innovative step towards the welfare of orphans who are living in difficult situation.

N Mukkanti has started a new life with the generosity of the local people and APCRDA Social Development Department. His father is a carpenter and he came from a background of Scheduled Castes.

Like his parents, his life was going to be normal. Shortly after the marriage, his wife left him and he became mentally disturbed. After the death of the parents, he used to beg in the nearby villages and used to eat the food which he earned from begging.

He was in that type of lifestyle for 25 years. At present, he is 60 years old with shabby clothes and he does not have basic amenities and he is living in a community hall.

The staff of the APCRDA Social Development Department has identified the person. He is in very deprived condition. With the help of the locals, APCRDA Social Development Department made him transform into a tidy person and they admitted him in ‘Karmel Seva Samstha’, Guntur.

CRDA director B L Chennakesavulu says "People should intimate to CRDA Social Development Department on those who are spending a lonely life as orphans in a very difficult situation and CRDA will take care of them.”
