Diversity Walk held in Vijayawada
Men and Women Aiming Greater Initiatives for Change MAGIC Youth, a dynamic youth organisation at Andhra Loyola College, under the leadership of Fr Bala SJ, Director of YESJ, organised a Diversity Walk, Religion is Love here on Sunday
Vijayawada: Men and Women Aiming Greater Initiatives for Change (MAGIC) Youth, a dynamic youth organisation at Andhra Loyola College, under the leadership of Fr Bala SJ, Director of YES-J, organised a Diversity Walk, ‘Religion is Love’ here on Sunday.
About 60 students of Andhra Loyola College participated in the rally which proceeded till Gunadhala Mary Church and were told about the about the essence of love, forgiveness and about the Holy Trinity.
Later they went to Jamma Mosque and the students learnt about the five pillars of Islam. After which they proceeded to Sai Baba temple near LEPL mall and were told why Sai Baba was considered as God by some of the Hindu brethren.
From Sai Baba temple, the students reached Gurudwara at Guru Nanak Colony and were warmly invited and were enlightened on how Sikhism adores peace.
